If you are in the position where you are asking the question, “can I get my ex back”  then you may be in for a little disappointment. No one is going to be able to answer that question with any degree of certainty, except for your ex – and he/she is not going to tell you straight out.

No matter how you look at it, getting your girlfriend back is going to be tough. There is no sense in sugar coating it because, despite what your friends and family tell you, and despite what you read online, the fact of the matter is that you are not about to get her back in 24 hours, or without a major effort.

Why is that?

Well, one of the main reasons is that she, no doubt, took a while to come to this conclusion. There was probably a lot of soul-searching and indecision in the beginning. No doubt, she agonized over this for some time before deciding to go through with it. Even if she wanted to come back to you now, it would be difficult considering what it took to make the decision in the first place.
